Sanford Community PLTI is part of a larger national community. PLTI was started in Connecticut by Elaine Zimmerman 20 years ago. Since then, several states have shown interest in pursuing this unique initiative that enables community members to develop a civic toolbox necessary to make changes for the future of all children in their town/city.
